Family Law Magistrate (Pool)

Expressions of interest in Family Law Magistrate appointment pool are invited from persons who have had at least 5 years’ legal experience, as defined in the Magistrates Court Act 2004, and who are able to demonstrate significant family law experience.

This pool will be open for 2 years from the date of the first appointment. Appointments may be offered as vacancies arise however, an appointment is not guaranteed.

One position is currently available and will commence in January 2023.

Applications must be received before 4:30pm on Friday 1 July 2022.
