Practice Direction (No.2 of 2025)

The Chief Judge of the Family Court has issued a new Practice Direction.

Practice Direction (No.2 of 2025) refers to the new form of the certificate to be filed pursuant to s 66H of the Family Court Act 1997 (WA), which is necessary due to the Family Law (Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners) Regulations 2025 which are to commence on 1 April 2025.

The Regulations mandate the form of the certificate to be used under section 60I of the Family Law Act 1975. The Practice Direction takes effect from 1 April 2025.
