The Trial
The final stage of your case is the trial. The Judicial Officer will make final orders at the end of the trial.
The readiness hearing will have given you the procedural orders you need to comply with before the trial. It is important you have complied with them, and your duty of disclosure.
The self represented litigants handbooks have details of the trial process, it is important you read these, especially if you are representing yourself. They include information on:
- affidavits
- the order of proceedings
- how to give evidence and an opening statement
- how to examine, cross-examine and re-examine witnesses
