The Family Court of Western Australia has moved to the eCourts portal for all document lodgement.

To commence using this portal you will need to register with your file number and participant I.D please contact the Family Court call centre to obtain this number on (08) 9224 8222. If you are an employee of a law firm you will need to contact the administrator of your law firm who will be able to create your new eCourts Portal account.

If you are experiencing any technical difficulties with your eCourts Portal account, please contact the Courts Technology Helpdesk at ctghelpdesk@justice.wa.gov.au or (08) 9425 2645.

Reconciliation Statement
On 29 May 2023 a joint sitting of all Western Australian courts and tribunals will be held to mark the launch of the Western Australian Courts and Tribunals Reconciliation Statement. [03/05/2023]

Superannuation Splitting for De Facto Couples
From 28 September 2022, de facto couples are able to apply to the Family Court of WA for superannuation splitting orders. [28/09/2022]

Court Fees Increase on 1 July 2022
The fees payable in the Court will increase from 1 July 2022 to reflect changes to the consumer price index over the past financial year. This is an automatic increase provided by the relevant fee regulations. [28/06/2022]
